Mountain resort climbs to the top

Really put a lot of ourselves into this project. (Partially because most of us love the slopes.) We went totally freestyle and came up with an edgy design and smart features like a very immersive interactive map, a big and bold snow condition dashboard, a fully visual menu to name only these ones. The creative, strategy and technology snowballed into a really awesome site with lots of traffic. See you on the slopes.

Unveiling some fresh, creative goodness

Ultima Foods came to us with an ultra top-secret mission: to create a Web site to coincide with the big, nation-wide unveil of their brand new 100% Canadian yogurt: iögo. So different, so fresh, iögo needed a site that was fun, friendly, even a little quirky – and that would really tell the iögo story while highlighting all the exciting flavours and natural goodness. We worked closely with the client behind closed doors for almost a year and, with tens of thousands of engaged users within the first week – mission accomplished.

Rock solid strategy and design

It takes a lot for die-hard city dwellers to pull up and lay stakes in outer regions of Quebec. But that was our challenge if this mining company was to recruit the best of the best. We created a very attractive site, fully integrated with the inspirational TV campaign, to highlight the outdoorsy, adventurous and family-friendly lifestyle. Heck… by then end of the project, a lot of us were tempted to go live there too!

Making insurance
a good read

Just say “insurance” and most people’s eye glaze over at the thought of trying to decipher all that mumbo jumbo. So the IBC and the GAA asked us to create a friendly, go-to site that answers all your questions about insurance in Quebec, without the convoluted insurance talk. The design is fresh, light and airy – you’d never know there are over 250 pages discussing every conceivable detail about home, auto and business insurance, as well as valuable prevention tips. So now fine print won’t be quite as scary.

Sustainable fishing makes waves in food industry

When the President of Canada’s leading grocery asked us to create a site on our oceans in peril and sustainable fishing, we dove right in. But consumers don’t want doom and gloom. They want to be informed and engaged to feel empowered. So we did it with a strategy and design that takes you below the surface, providing boatloads of information and fun tools to get consumers hooked on fish – of the sustainable variety, of course.

Sweet design. Irresistible concept.

We needed to get consumers excited about Vachon snack cakes again. So we blended equal parts strategy and design to help turn these corner store favourites into gourmet desserts with recipes by real pastry chefs, “Treat Selector” for the epicurious and more. The warm chocolaty design, sumptuous photos and simple navigation were more than icing on the cake.

Let the
creativity flow

Fun, fun and more fun. That’s the visual experience we wanted to create on this site (and that’s what we had doing this project). We were able to pool our teams’ creative, strategic and technological talents so families and friends could explore this mountain water park and all the excitement waiting for them. It’s just like being there. For real!

Fun facts

  • The downside of being a redhead, like our technical director, is that even when you slather on, from head to toe, 3.653 L of Hawaiian Tropic at a summer party, you still wind up with a major sunburn.
  • On our last snowboarding trip, our technical director nearly killed himself. Same story with the previous trip, as well as the one before that.
  • If you transform the alcohol our technical director drinks in a year of Friday after work 5@7s into gasoline, you could drive a Blazer around the world. Twice.

We’re one tight team

We’re the team that plays together, which probably explains why we work so great together.
And we’ve always got cool things to share with
each other – and you.

NO TWIDDLING THUMBS HERE!

After a hectic fall in 2012, the new year promises to be every bit as busy.

Firstly, we’ve landed several new projects for the pharmaceutical industry from clients including Pharmascience, Abbott and Sanofi-Aventis.

Work on the e-commerce site for Californian fine wine retailer JJ Buckley, one of the premier fine wine retailers in the United States, has also been keeping our team quite busy. The site will be completed this spring.

Genetec, a firm specializing in security control centres, has given us the green light for ergonomics and graphic design projects for its new Web site.
Finally, Addenda Capital, an investment and wealth management firm, has hired Uranium to revamp its Web site.

Through it all, we’re still taking the time to have some fun, as these pictures from our famous Christmas party will attest.

Launch of iögo site

After almost a year of work, we have gone live with the site for iögo, the new brand of yogurt from Ultima Foods.

The site is at the heart of a major launch campaign conducted across Canada.

It is an incredible opportunity to participate in the creation of a new brand from scratch. Because of our early involvement in the process, we were able to create a website that really stands out within its industry.

What’s more, these yogurts are bursting with delicious flavours!
